German World War I "Grosser" pattern artillery sword with a "WKC" marked nickel plated steel blade, with scattered light marks. Triple etched blade has 2 large blued panels on each side, with light wear, depicting the unit "Mindensches - Artill. Rgt. Nr. 58", a mounted limber, cannon barrels, etc, with various other patterns outside of the panels, as well as laurel leaves on the spine. Triple strand wire wrapped sharkskin grip has moderate wear, and a couple of strands have loosened. Nickel plated steel fittings retain 70-75% of their finish, with freckling. Nickel plated steel scabbard retains 80-85% of its finish with light freckling and scattered marks. CONDITION: Overall very good to excellent. WEZ
