Heer Infantry officer visor cap made in a high quality Feldgrau wool which appears to be undamaged, and with only very light staining on the top. A dark green wool center band with no damage but is slightly crushed. The white piping is intact with no visible damage. The Heer silver bullion eagle, wreath, and chin cord are undamaged and original to the cap, with an aluminum cockade. The black vulkanfibre visor is undamaged, with the underside in a medium brown crosshatch pattern, with very light wear. The interior is fully lined in a medium gray rayon with no visible damage and very light staining. The celluoid sweatshield is present with the maker mark of "Franz Fabel, Mainz", has two square inches missing, and with a crack The tan leather sweatband has very light fraying and staining.
