GERMAN WWII MAP CASE.
Leather construction marked "RYFFEL & BORNS / HANOVER / 1939" on interior flap. on reverse side. Also marked with Wa161 waffenamt. Ryffel & Borns Hannover was a German leather goods manufacturer known for producing military equipment during the early 20th century. Contains a few pencils and measuring tools including a grid. Also included is a Visual representation of map symbols in official German maps book dated 1942. Leather remains supple with scattered blemishes. CONDITION: Very good.
