This is a beautiful Gibson Bella voce banjo with carrying case. The provenance of this banjo is that it was owned by famed broadcaster Arthur Godfrey and the banjo comes with a copy of a photo with him holding the banjo. This example is shown to be a later version with a peg head as the Florentine model, which was done later in production. With signs of wear and use, with minor chipping to the veneer, mostly at the edges of the back, some wear along the neck, but all in all a great instrument. Comes with a letter written to Mr. Godfrey by the person that sold him the banjo.
