GOOD HUMOR ICE CREAM CART BICYCLE

C. 1940. Starting back in the late 1930’s, Worksman Cycles became known as they manufactured Ice Cream Bicycles for Good Humor Ice Cream Company. Good Humor-Breyers Brand of ice cream originally started in Youngstown, Ohio in the early 1920’s. Their success was the invention of the Good Humor Bar, a chocolate coated ice cream bar on a wooden stick. This was the first time ice cream was put on a stick and it was a new convenient way to eat ice cream. The Good Humor Tricycles were seen in neighborhoods throughout the Valley with the “Ice Cream Man” jingling his chime bells surrounded by kids and adults who craved the famous Good Humor Bar. CONDITION: This fine restored Tricycle is a perfect example of what would have been seen back in time peddling through neighborhoods. Light wear from moving, no major flaws noted.
