This is a hand-painted wood sign on a single piece of glued board, reading "Police Dep't City of New York / Raided Premises". The sign was put in the window of a bar to let patrons know that it is a raided premise, which meant there was a uniformed police officer in the bar to guard against illegal activities. It is hand-painted in original paint and in very good condition, with some area of peeling to the wood in the lower left-hand corner.
Condition: (8.5).
Item Dimensions: 18" x 24" x 1/4".
