SSP. A rare and exceptional example of this C. 1940's single sided porcelain sign from Harbor Petroleum featuring a wonderful seaplane graphic with outstanding color and gloss. CONDITION: The field of this sign remains very clean with great color and shine. There is an occasional surface scratch to the gloss, but nothing offensive. There is one half-dollar sized area of discoloration that is likely a factory repair in the top left section of the blue field. This is hardly noticeable. The outer edges of the sign show porcelain chipping and wear, which has been concealed by touch up. The touch up extends around most of the entire border. With that said, the field of the sign is exceptional and would be hard to upgrade (8.75).
