SSP. C. 1940s. Harbor Petroleum Products Company, Los Angeles, California. An excellent example of this iconic piece from Harbor showing Airplane graphic. CONDITION: Showing full color and gloss throughout the field, with no notable chipping in the inner or outer fields. Fields do show some areas of surface scratching and general storage wear, but overall very clean. Sign shows light chips at the mounting holes with scattered chipping along the entire outer edge, some of which has been touched-up in the black bordered area. An exceptionally clean example with tremendous display power, and an icon of early California Petroleum history.
