ITHACA AUTO BURGLAR BARRELS AND DESIRABLE ITHACA AUTO BURGLAR HOLSTER.
The Ithaca Auto and Burglar was produced from 1921 through 1934. The earlier examples were built on the Flues frame while the later examples used the NID frames. These barrels are for a first model and are serial numbered 361574, dating to 1922. Barrels are 10" in 20 gauge with 2 - 1/2" chambers and extractors. The matching serial number is also found stamped on the checkered walnut splinter forearm. Barrels are blued with matted rib and a single brass bead front sight. Barrels are stamped "SMOKELESS POWDER STEEL" and "MADE IN USA". This lot also includes the rare original leather flap holster that is branded "AUTO AND BURGLER GUN MADE BY ITHACA GUN CO. ITHACA N.Y." on face of flap. CONDITION: Excellent. Barrel retains nearly all the blue finish with nominal handling marks and a touch of muzzle wear. The bores are bright. The forearm is superb. The holster is also in excellent condition but missing closure stud.
