Description
The Matteawan was a paddle steamship built in Keyport, New Jersey in 1862. It was a passenger carrier on the Hudson River until 1921.

Condition
Canvas was relined. Some age-related paint craquelure and minor wear to the frame corners. Otherwise in good condition.
