Blüthner Pianos was established by Julius Blüthner together with three other craftsmen in 1853 in Leipzig, Germany. In 1854, Blüthner exhibited the company’s first designed instrument in public, which received praises for being a topnotch concert instrument. The ornate cases were top of the line, being decorated with veneer, mother of pearls and gold leaves. This ebonized example has been fitted with a Welte-Mignion reproducing player. It is a 7' grand piano, with an early Julius Bluthner emblem on the piano board. CONDITION: Showing a few cracks on the ebonized finish, and to the keyboard cover at the corners. The Welte-Mignon system is working and the piano comes with a good selection of rolls. The piano will need to be tuned.

This is not a standard shippable item and will require 3rd party shipping or pickup arrangements to be made.

Condition: (Very Good).
