These beautiful Kalliope music boxes were made in the 1890's to early 1900s in Leipzig, Germany. This Model 60G uses 13-1/4" (34 cm) metal discs that pluck the 60 tooth, single comb. 10 of those teeth are reserved for the 10 bells also inside. The center spindle is used for winding the mechanism with the included crank. The inside of the lid has a painting of a couple by the seaside. The volume and clarity of this music box is impressive. It has one disc included that plays Santa Lucia. The cabinet has a lock but no key is included.

Condition: (Excellent).
