Lot includes original individual boxes and individual 755W labeled set box. This is an extremely difficult set to find complete in original set box, and one of the most popular pre-war Lionel O gauge sets made. Includes No. 250-E Hiawatha Locomotive. Matching No. 250W Lionel Lines Whistle Tender. Three Passenger Cars: 782, 783, and 784. Two Vestibules, one with an individual vestibule box. Set box is complete, has tape on one side apron and some paper loss on one end, but is firm and displays well. Inside boxes are crisp like bricks, the weakest box being the tender box, which is complete but has one loose end flap and some creasing. Engine is bright and shiny, has some minor paint chipping on back sides of cab and frame. Tender is rubber stamped "250W" on the bottom, and has a few minor nicks on the roof and back edges. Bellies on the cars are good, lettering is strong. This is a very well-matched set and all original.
