Pre-war. O-gauge. Includes a cast engine embossed "AF16" in orange on sides of cab with orange-colored windows and American style cowcatcher. Also includes a matching American Flyer Line four-wheel tender and two green passenger cars: no. 1205 Express Baggage and no. 1206 pullman. Cars are unusual in that they have two four-wheel trucks. Very minor scratching and wear to tender and cars, roofs are nice. Includes original box with nice colorful labels on front and side. Some minor staining and wear to lid of box but this is still a very nice set overall. Provenance: The Ward Kimball Collection.
