Circa 1947, NY–LINT Toys. Painted pressed steel wind-up car with multiple functions including parking and U-turns; wind-up and multi-function mechanisms appear to work perfectly, but the center undercarriage wheel that steers it has been neatly cut away, probably for aesthetic reasons; displays amazingly, but needs the fifth wheel to be put back on to work properly. This is the first toy Ny–Lint produced, and was introduced at the 1946 World’s Fair.
