Serial number not visible. This was a government purchase and has the H inspector marks. Configuration is standard with 7 1/8” octagon barrel, .36 caliber percussion, flat sided frame, two piece walnut grips and large trigger guard. Gun retains 90% of the re-blued finish starting to plum in spots such as bottom of frame. Grips are excellent as refinished. Bottom of barrel and right side of frame have a CSA stamp but cannot verify originality. Strange action works perfectly. Bore is strong and clean. This revolver was manufactured from 1861 to mid-1860’s and saw extensive usage during the War Between the States.
