Caliber .30-06. This receiver was manufactured in 1917. The barrel is stmaped "S.A. 9-42". This is a typical example of a World War II re-work in that it was re-barreled and re-stocked with a World War II "scant" stock. It has a World War II bolt, milled floorplate, and smooth buttplate. Gun retains virtually all of the military re-work finish. Excellent stock is stamped "R.A.-P." on left side. Mirror bore. ME-.5. Has a reproduction sling. Perfect action.
