Serial No. 341799. Manufactured in 1918 and is an excellent all original untouched example of a World War I issue Colt semi-automatic .45 ACP pistol. All correct parts include: long smooth trigger, checkered slide stop and safety, diamond checkered walnut grips, lanyard ring magazine, smooth mainspring housing, U notch rear sight, small blade front, and checkered long wide spur hammer. Left side of frame has eagle head and "S-11" as well as "United States Property" stamped. Horse is center on slide. Gun is a pleasing smooth blue softening brown patina with flashes of original blue in recesses. No pitting what-so-ever. Strong clean bore, slightly frosted. Excellent grips with light wear. Fine example of a World War I 1911.
