P. W. Sohns European hunting sword. High grade example wonderfully decorated with various hunting themes. Etched with scroll and vines, deers head and rifle. Handle is genuine stag decorated with three circular raised oak leaf motifs. Corssguard is elaborately decorated with dogs heads, wild boar and oak leaves. Shell guard is decorated with a deer scene. Correct scabbard included which originally held a small fixed blade knife is missing. Circa 19th century.
