This rifle is standard World War II military issue chambered for the .30-govt-06 cartridge. Manufactured by Remington under contract to Springfield. It has all the standard features found on World War II manufactured rifles. The barrel is stamped "RA 3-43". Straight walnut stock with FJA inspector on left side. Stock is excellent and was refinished at one time, cartouche is light. Receiver and bolt have been re-blued. Barrel and trigger guard have most of the original factory finish. ME reading is 1-1/2". Has a web sling.
