Offered is a fine all original Winchester Model 1873 manufactured in 1885 in the popular .44-40 caliber. It is a clean all original never messed with example. Features 24" full octagon barrel, full magazine, blued finished, sporting sights, rifle butt, and walnut stocks. All metal finish retain approximately 75% of the original high polish factory blue with the balance a nice blend to patina. Excellent case colors still evident on hammer. Beautiful all original walnut stocks are proud to metal with original finish, and no cracks or chips. Strong rifled bore with a perfect action. Excellent example of a far above average handsome .44 caliber Model 73.
