Offered is a standard Winchester Model 1866 Yellow Boy chambered for the .44 rimfire caliber. Features include a 20" round barrel, full magazine, has the proper King's Improvement stamp on top of barrel dated 1860. This carbine has survived in fine condition. Barrel and tube retain approximately 70% of the reapplied blue finish. Walnut stocks were refinished long ago and are a bit shy to the metal. Brass receiver remains in lovely uncleaned condition. Replaced vintage rear sight, barrel band front sight, saddle ring and stud are missing. Front barrel band screw is a replacement. 1" crack on left side of forestock. Has a strong bore with some minor corrosion. Perfect working order. With a little bit of work, this could be a fine example of a Model 1866 carbine.
