Chambered for the desirable .22 Hornet cartridge, this is a pre-war rifle. Features the stripper clip cut receiver. Features a 24" barrel, ramp front sight (no hood), sporting rear sight (missing elevator), straight comb walnut stock, checkered steel buttplate, and sling swivels. The barrel is a pleasing smooth blue turning patina. Receiver retains all of the original factory matte blue finish. Excellent walnut stocks with no cracks or chips, just the usual minor hunting bumps. Floorplate retains 80% original blue. Trigger guard is worn to grey. Fine action. Strong clean bore with light frosting. Nice early scarce Hornet.
