This rifle was manufactured in 1901 and is a standard takedown chambered for the .30-30 Winchester cartridge. Features include 26" full octagon barrel, full magazine, rifle butt, blued finish, walnut stocks. Rifle remains in excellent all original condition. Barrel and tube have between 85-90% original factory blue, thinning on high edges. the frame still retains 85% of its original high polish blue finish, starting to mix with plum. Case colors on lever and hammer have darkened. Walnut stocks are excellent, proud to metal, never refinished, with no cracks or chips. Action is perfect. Very good rifled bore with some light frosting.
