This rifle was manufactured between 1943 and 1948. Standard features include 26" round barrel, half magazine, hooded ramp front sight, plugged rear with rare Winchester bolt peep sight, pistol grip walnut stock, checkered steel shotgun buttplate. This rifle is in virtually near new condition. Has 99% of the original factory blue on all metal surfaces, with just a minor scratch on the right side of the frame. Wood is mint with no cracks or chips, proud to metal, and never refinished. Bore and action are mint. Chambered for the rare and desirable .219 Zipper cartridge making this an extremely desirable sporting rifle.
