This fine Featherweight Model 70 was manufactured in 1954. It is chambered for the Winchester .308 cartridge. Features include 22" barrel, hooded ramp front sight, folding leaf rear sight, Monte Carlo checkered walnut stock, Winchester sling swivels, Winchester solid red rubber recoil pad. Rifle is topped with Redfield steel base and rings, and a Weaver K6 scope. The barrel and frame retain virtually all of the original factory blue finish. Scope is near mint. Floorplate has been cleaned to silver. Stock is excellent, never sanded, but has had a coat of varnish added. Bore and action are perfect.
