This classic pre-64 model 70 bolt action rifle was manufactured in 1952. It is chambered in the venerable .270 Winchester cartridge. Features include a 24" barrel, straight comb walnut stock, and checkered steel shotgun buttplate. All the metal retains approximately 99% of the original factory blue finish. The dark walnut stock is excellent with just a couple minor abrasions and finish loss on bottom of forearm. It is equipped with sling swivels. The bridge has scope bases installed, rear sight has a filler, and the front sight blade has been removed. Mint bore and action. Ready for an old school scope and this classic rifle is ready for the field.
