This high quality German gun has 29 - 5/8" barrels, 2 - 1/2" chambers with bright shiny bores. The raised matted rib has a single bead and the bottom rib has a swing swivel. The receiver shows lovely high quality engraving showing two sitting quails and one taking off. The right receiver has two rabbits, one running and the other one standing. The gun features side clips, cocking indicators and non automatic safety. The trigger guard is also engraved with two woodcocks in an oval. A master engraver would have worked on this gun. The forend shows worn checkering and added ebony tip and extra varnish. The checkered capped pistol grip shows worn checkering and has a length of pull of 14 - 1/4" to a hard rubber buttplate. This petite 16 ga. gun would be a joy to gun upland game birds and carry into the October woods.
