Pre 1898. W. Richards SxS gun basic features include 28" barrels, 12 ga., side plates, exposed hammers, double triggers, brown Damascus barrels, case colored frame, and checkered wood stocks. Gun was made in Belgium. There has been repair to the lugs. Lock up is fine. Very good wood. Buttplate is missing the bottom 1". No cracks in stock. Very good checkering. Traces of frame colors. Dark brown on barrels. No visible dents. Muzzle is worn. Very good bores. Release lever centers. Typical mail-order 19th century made to confuse the buyers they were getting a Wesley Richards.
Correction: This lot is only one gun, not a lot of two. The Marlin Model 21 originally listed with this lot is actually Lot 683.
