The Third Model Dragoon was reintroduced by Colt in 1974. This revolver was manufactured between 1974 and 1978 with a total of 2,676 produced. Standard features include 7-1/2" barrel; single action; six shot; .44 caliber percussion; blued with case colored frame, lever, and hammer; and walnut grips. This revolver remains in new unfired condition with no signs of any drag line. It is housed in a Colt walnut velvet lined display case with the Colt flask, bullet mold, wrench, and cap tin. Also included in this lot is the original Colt cardboard shipping container numbered to gun with the original paperwork. Beautiful condition early example of a Colt Second Generation Dragoon.
