Approximately 4,718 Model 53s were manufactured for the .32-20 caliber. Features include a 22" nickel steel round barrel, button magazine, standard sporting sights, blued finish, walnut stocks, fluted comb, and checkered steel buttplate. Manufactured in 1927. Remains in beautiful condition. Barrel retains approximately 98% original factory blue with a hint of muzzle wear. Frame retains 98% original factory blue with just a hint of freckling on left and right sides. Wood is near mint with virtually all of the original finish, proud to metal with a couple of impressions here and there. Mint bore and action. One of the cleanest Model 53s one could hope for.
