This Dumoulin 16 gauge shotgun is a Liege model. It is a Belgium made ejector gun with 24 inch barrels. The bore diameter of the right barrel is .716 and has no choke constriction. The left barrel has a bored diameter of .731 and no choke constriction. The wall thickness was measured and maximum wall measurement is .016 on the right tube and .015 on the left tube. It is this catalogers belief that these barrels are not safe to shoot. The gun features automatic ejectors (not functioning), double triggers, side clips, a scallop box locked receiver, tear drop side panels, and a straight grip. With the exception of the barrels, this is in very good condition. The receiver shows strong case colors and an excellent wood to metal fit. The butt stock has a length of pull to a checkered butt and 2 1/2 inches of drop at its heel. The wood has no major cracks or breaks and is in overall very good condition. The receiver shows high relief oak leaves engraved at its breach. With a little TLC, this gun may be brought back to life.
