.45 ACP with a 5" barrel. Manufactured in 1918. This pistol is standard in all respects, as issued to the United States Army in 1918 and has gone through the rebuild program as evidenced by the Augusta Arsenal inspector stamps on left side of frame. All the original parts are correct for a 1918 period gun except the hammer and the grips have been replaced with the World War II era brown plastic Keyes panels . This pistol has seen much use and obviously spent the majority of its lifetime stored in a holster. There are traces of original blue on the frame but the gun is basically devoid of any original finish. Overall finish is freckled with some heavy pitting on the frame and slide. Comes with an original lanyard loop magazine (dented). Fine bore on the replacement barrel. Excellent candidate for restoration.
