This muzzle loading combination gun features a 16 bore shot gun tube and what appears to be a 40 caliber rifled barrel. The right smooth bore barrel has a dent eight inches from the muzzle. The left barrel appears to be in good condition. The gun was originally browned in color and not blued and has now turned a pleasing reddish brown tone. The gun sports rifle sights and functions properly. The hammers hold their full cock position and function properly. The top tang is missing a screw but appears stable and solid. The gun has a length of pull of 13 3/4 inches to a steel butt plate. This gun would look great on a mantle piece, or could possibly be brought back to shooting condition.
