Early brass ball handle reel from the 1860s, marked F. Vom Hofe & Son, Maker, measuring 3-1/8", foot stamped 250, beautiful wood and ball handle, showing some crimp marks. 3-3/8" foot shows nicks and bends at one end, reel has minor pitting under the side plate, but is overall in respectable condition. Spins freely.
