This Richards 12 gauge hammer gun is an antique. It was made in Belgium and can possibly be brought back to shooting condition. The barrels measure 30 inches and bores show moderate to heavy pitting. The top lever spring is broken and the gun does not lock up tight. The hammers can be cocked and will hold their full cock position. The firing mechanism functions properly. The forend wood has worn checkering, numerous nicks and dings and slivers of wood missing on the left side. The checkered butt stock has worn checkering, and a length of pull of 14 1/2 inches and a 2 7/8 inch drop at heel. This gun would make a great wall hanger, or with a competent gunsmith, may be brought back to life.
