This French counter game is called, "Loterie De Comptoir" which translates to "Lottery Counter". The player rotates the sphere, which is filled with different colored beads using the spigot style handle and then inserts their coin. The winnings were paid at the bar according to the color of bead that would show behind the glass under the sphere. Operates on 1 The New Franc, indicating it was made after 1960. The base is blue enameled sheet metal. The sphere and its stand are golden. The base is padlocked and includes two keys.
