Features a 20" barrel in .22 WRF. This rifle was made between 1936 and end of production and was issued as standard with round barrel, walnut stocks, blue finish and sporting sight. All metal surfaces were nickel plated and appears to have been done at the factory or professionally dealer applied during the era. All legends are sharp and devoid of any nickel inside them, including the small "PW" as well as all other legends, which would indicate they were applied after the finish. All edges are razor sharp. The rifle retains approximately 95% of what we believe to be factory nickel, which would make this an extremely scarce rifle,. The only appreciable nickel wear appears to be on the push rod and near the safety near trigger with some very light areas of minor freckling. Forend is excellent, proud to metal with no cracks or chips. The butt stock likewise would be in excellent condition as it is proud to metal, all original finish, no cracks with some minor abrasions with the exception of the chip off the toe at buttplate. The buttplate is bent at chip, which should be an easy repair. Extremely nice, rare rifle.
