8" barrel in .44 percussion caliber. Manufactured 1864. This fine Colt Model 1860 Army remains in excellent, all original, condition with all matching numbers including the wedge. Standard features include; blued 8" barrel, blued six shot rebated percussion cylinder, blued steel back strap, brass trigger guard with case colored frame, hammer and lever. The barrel retains flashes of brilliant blue in recesses but is basically a soft grey-brown patina with some light age freckling. The cylinder retains 70% original factory blue on the rebated area. Has a beautiful Naval battle etched scene. Back strap has brilliant blue at top strap. Frame retains traces of original case colors but has basically greyed out. Original varnished walnut grips are near mint, retaining most of their original finish. All legends are perfect. Screw heads are untouched. Traces of case colors on loading lever. An extremely nice, clean and all matching 1860 Army.
