Beautifully finished is this excellent condition (uncleaned) great unknown wood body musky or striped bass bait, finished in a black back with beautiful emerald green stripes, silver scales, blending to a white belly with red face. Large glass eyes accent this big bait that is outfitted with a heavy duty "L-rig" type tail hanger that quite possibly runs through the body and forms the line tie, and a surface mounted belly hook hanger, reminiscent of some of the early NY striperbait makers. It has been suggested by some that it may have a relationship to Lauby, others have mentionedMoonlight, but the fact is that this 6" long (nearly 6" in circumference at it's widest point) beast of a wood plug is currently one of the great unknowns….for now…..
