11.25mm caliber with a 5" barrel. This pistol was manufactured in Argentina prior to World War II and is a near clone of the famous Colt Model 1911 A1 semi-automatic pistol. Features the full blued finish with the diamond checkered walnut grips. Other features include a checkered arched mainspring housing, checkered short wide spur hammer, checkered trigger, checkered slide lock, serrated safety and a checkered magazine release. It is import stamped on left side of frame. The barrel is a Colt Series 70 barrel which would allow this pistol to shoot the .45 ACP cartridge. Has a Colt .45 magazine. All matching numbers. Gun retains virtually all of the re-applied blue finish with razor sharp legends. Fine bore and action.
