Barrel length 25", .300 magnum. This custom rifle was assembled after the war utilizing a standard Springfield Model 1903 action. A heavy target barrel in .300 magnum was installed. Metal was re-blued. Custom walnut stock was installed that sports typical post-war decorations. White diamond and circle on left side with rakish Monte Carlo stock, with checkered white grip cap and contrasting fore-end tip. A red rubber waffle Red Head pad was installed. The barrel was manufactured without sights and this rifle sports scope blocks mounted to barrel with Unertl aluminum adjustable mounts with an Unertl 10x tube scope. The scope exhibits major loss of finish. The floor plate is brown patina. Fine bore and action.
