5-1/2" barrel in 7.63mm caliber. This Slab-Side Broomhandle Mauser resembles an Astra Model 900 and has all visible matching numbers, yet is devoid of any manufacturer stamps. It is a finely made and finished pistol with the large cone hammer and the 17 groove walnut grips with lanyard. Serial number can be found in five places. Grips are excellent. Overall the pistol is in excellent condition retaining approximately 85-90% original factory blue. Strong bore. Fine action. It is housed in a Chinese copy of the leather stock/holster with shoulder strap. The lack of markings would indicate this pistol is probably a Spanish copyright infringement of the standard Astra.
