Some very collectible airguns have come from rather unexpected directions. The Excellent brand of pneumatic rifles from Sweden are quite uncommon in America, while the Excellent air pistols are almost unknown. This is a scarce MODEL C2 made in Sweden. It is a - 5.5mm (for 5.4mm lead balls only) cal., multi stroke pneumatic, in-line pump w/ grooved wood (1916-1941) pump handle, paragon rifled bore, swing breech, detent screw, solid blue steel barrel, part octagon and part round, marked Excellent Made in Sweden and C2 on barrel, SG walnut stock without (1916-1941) cheek piece and metal butt plate, adj. rear sight, 38.94 in. OAL, 4.6 lbs. Mfg. Incredible quality and ultimate rarity in the air gun collecting world. the stock is in excellent condition with a couple of minor stress cracks on right side and a 3-1/2" stress crack on left side as well. All of the stress cracks can be easily repaired. Barrel retains the majority of its original blue finish with some light age freckling. Buttplate is a bit oversized.
