.30-06 cal, Barrel length 24". These fine rifles were manufactured 1921-1940 only. They were built using the Model 1917 Enfield action. The Model 30-S was a deluxe version of the Model 30-A and came standard with the Lyman receiver sight and select checkered walnut stock. This example remains in fantastic, original condition. There is some high edge wear around the front sight barrel band, the balance of blue remaining on frame and barrel. The Lyman receiver sight stem has a filler to allow the use of a scope. The scope mounts are stamped "Nieder Rifle Corp. Dowagiac. Mich." The scope is a pre-war Karl Zeiss Jena tube scope. Stock is in near mint condition with sharp checkering, Remington checkered steel butt plate with black pistol grip cap. Comes with quick detachable sling swivels and leather sling. Fine bore and action.
