7-1/2" barrel in .36 caliber percussion. Manufactured in 1866. This 1851 Colt Navy has matching numbers on frame and barrel. Trigger guard bears the number '35317' and the backstrap and grips are for an 1860 Army, and are cut for a should stock with a 'T' inspector mark. The cylinder is void of any scene or numbers. Barrel has been period nickel plated with a front sight blade. Fairly strong barrel address. Muzzle is rounded. Barrel and loading lever retain approximately 80% of the dealer nickel plating. Frame and backstrap are grey. cylinder is polished metal. Indexes properly. Strong rifling but has black powder abrasions.
