.52 caliber, barrel length 32-5/8". It is referred to as a 2nd Production Type (1826-1838). This is one of the earlier percussion models. The block is stamped "J.H. Hall", "H Ferry US 1834". Rifle features the three pinned barrel bands (springs were eliminated in 1832). It has sling swivel on trigger guard and middle barrel band. All metal is a clean smooth original brown patina. Walnut stocks are excellent with the usual minor dings. Decent, smooth bore. Rifle appears untouched and one of the finer examples we've seen of this rare rifle.
