(A) Caliber is .22 long rimfire, barrel length is 3-1/2", serial # 79288. This revolver resembles a Smith & Wesson Model No. 1 third issue revolver. Manufactured from 1868-1891 with a 3-1/2" barrel, blued finish, six shot, single action, spur trigger. Top strap has Smith & Wesson logo as does right side of frame. Right side of barrel is stamped 22 long. This is obviously a European copy infringing on the Smith & Wesson patent. There are several features not found on an original Smith & Wesson including caliber and long cylinder. This revolver retains approximately 80% of reapplied blue finish, sideplate is ill fitting and missing one screw, pearl grip has chip on left side and right panel has two escutcheons. Action is working. (B) S&W model 1-1/2 second issue revolver. Barrel length is 3-1/2", caliber is .32 rimfire long, serial # 114528. Manufactured from 1868-1875. Standard nickel plated tip up five shot spur trigger with rosewood bird head grips. Gun retains approximately 85% of reapplied nickel finish. Near mint grips, fine action, rifling visible with abrasions.
