4" barrel chambered in .38 Special caliber. This Model 15 is referred to as the K-38 Combat Masterpiece. Features blued finish, six shot, double action, adjustable rear sight, case colored hammer and trigger, and silver medallion diamond checkered walnut grips. The grips are numbered to another gun and date prior to 1966 with the diamonds. This revolver was manufactured in 1969. Revolver retains 97% original factory blue with light muzzle wear, drag line, and some minor high edge wear at frame. Action is perfect. Strong clean bore. This revolver has the rare Murabitio Safety and the only one we have seen. Add to description- This Winchester was purchased from Jim Supica in his Old Town Dispatch #33 with family history that rifle belonged to Harvey Knight, a NY lawyer turned preacher who moved his family to Washington County, KS.
