This is a floor model, wind up phonograph manufactured by the Sonora Phonograph Corporation of New York, circa 1917. The oak cabinet features quarter sawn "tiger" striping, with a top that opens to reveal the turntable, tone arm, and extra needles. The turntable can accommodate up to 12" records. The front door of the cabinet opens to reveal six vertical compartments with original paper dividers to organize records. Underneath those is a drawer which is currently holding fifteen 10" records and one 12" record. The mortise and tenon joint have separated where the drawer and front right leg meet. The finish is in very good condition.
